The Dâmbovnic River is a tributary of the Neajlov River in Romania. It is named sometimes Dîmbovnic or Drâmbovnic,〔http://www.micromapper.ro〕 depending on map and source. ==Geography== The river flows through four different counties: Argeș, Dâmbovița, Teleorman and Giurgiu.〔http://www.satelliteviews.net/cgi-bin/w.cgi?c=ro&UF=-1158083&UN=-1707075&DG=STM〕 It flows from North-West to South-East and forms near the high plains of Piteşti, where it receives residual water from Arpechim. Then, it passes through the Găvanu-Burdea Plain and finally ends into the Neajlov River, near Clejani. The total length is 110 km.〔 It is a permanent river.
